Simple elegance... that defines this classy Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date #1500 from 1979. This lovely example has a lot going for it! First of all it's untouched, unpolished with a lovely clean sharp case (34mm). Second it's a so called 'Ghost' dial whereby the grey soleil dial has turned into a beautiful discreet light grey colour. Third, it's a sigma dial whereby the indexes are in white gold, the tritium dots underneath are also in perfect caramel color! Attached is a sporty unpolished Oyster bracelert with sufficient lenght. Movement is the well know Cal 1570 which is working perfectly. As a bonus it comes with a period Rolex box. Surely one of the more desirable Date's...
